With access to Medicare benefits, you can save $96.65 per session with a registered psychologist, and $141.85 per session with a clinical psychologist. To access Medicare rebates, you will need to book an appointment with your GP and request a Mental Health Care Plan and referral letter. Your referral can be made out to East Coast Psychology Services. Please email these documents to us at anna@eastcoastpsychologyservices.com before your first appointment. This ensures your psychologist can provide the best support according to your Mental Health Care Plan and keeps all necessary information for Medicare rebate claims in one place. After your session, the full fee for your sessions will be processed, and the rebate amount of $96.65 will be returned to your nominated account. You can access up to 10 rebated sessions per calendar year. Please note that Medicare rebates are not applicable for couples counselling.
